Youth Engaged in Service (Y.E.S.)  Community Service

Youth Engaged in Service (Y.E.S) is a community service program run by the City of Woburn.  Students in grades 5, 8 and graduating seniors are eligible to receive an award if they perform 50 hours of community service by the end of their elementary, middle and high school careers.

Over the course of the school year Joyce Students will have opportunities to earn Y.E.S hours.  Middle school children must complete 50 hours of community service by the end of eight grade to receive a special award. Children completing 150 hours of community service during their entire school career will earn a special Y.E.S award and be recognized at their high school graduation. Parents are asked to keep track of their children’s hours and submit them to the principal on an annual basis when requested (usually early May).

Check the PTO Calendar for upcoming opportunities. Please follow the link below for more information on the program and to download a tracking form.
