Have you ever felt strong about a community issue, and money was your only obstacle?
Are you a youth in Woburn with a passion to make a difference?

Check out the Woburn Youth Council mini-grant application and apply for a grant today!

This year, once again, the Woburn Youth Council is hosting a minigrant program for interested youth led organizations. Minigrants are given to fund youth initiated projects. Throughout the years we have helped fund over 50 different projects from many different groups. There are a few requirements for mini-grants.  Mini-grants must be requested from a youth involved group with an adult acting in a strictly advisory role. Grants requested must be between $100 and $1,000. The requested funds must be for a Community Service Learning (CSL) project and should involve youth volunteering to address a clearly defined community need. Applications are due March 16, 2010 by 5:00 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us at mgambale@sciwoburn.orgbhanagan@sciwoburn.org, or call us at 781-935-3777.  See application below
