The Joyce Best Buddies, Builders Club and Magazine have joined together to raise money for the people of Haiti who have suffered through a catastrophic earthquake. We are selling paper hearts at lunch and during activity for one dollar or any donation higher than a dollar. Students/teachers can write a message to the people of Haiti on the heart and put it on the bulletin board in the cafeteria. Money collected will be donated to Partners in Health, a Boston based group, that has worked for decades in Haiti for health and development. Partners in Health, which was started by Harvard's Dr. Paul Farmer, is already actively working in Haiti and has set up an emergency field hospital to treat the earthquake victims.
